ark your calendars! Our school’s book fair is coming up… March 23rd-27th. The Fair will be open Monday through Thursday 8am-4pm and Friday during conferences 8am-2pm. Thursday of the fair is Grandparents Day. Stop by the fair with a grandparent and share the joy of reading with them!
To make life simpler for your child you can set up the EWallet account. EWallet is a digital payment account that allows parents to fund their child’s purchases in advance! It’s a safe, convenient alternative to cash that makes for the registration line to go quicker, less germs at the register and less chance of your child losing money at school! It’s easy to create an eWallet for students to shop the Fair or for teachers to set up an eWallet to build classroom libraries. At the time of checkout, the eWallet account can be looked up on the register or scanned for payment at the fair. Grandparents, aunts/uncles, other relatives/friends can contribute and your child will have more books to read and more family bonding time by talking about the books they picked out/read! Volunteers are always needed as well! We need 2-3 volunteers each time slot. If you are interested in helping out the book fair you can sign up for one or more time slots. They are Monday through Friday 7:45-10:30am, 10:30-1:00pm, 1:00-4:00pm. Please call the school at 509-486-4933 to sign up!

Para simplificarle la vida a tu hijo, puedes crear una cuenta de eWallet. ¡EWallet es una cuenta de pago digital que permite a los padres financiar las compras de sus hijos por adelantado! Es una alternativa segura y conveniente al efectivo. Esto agiliza la fila de registro, reduce la cantidad de gérmenes en la caja y reduce la posibilidad de que su hijo pierda dinero en la escuela. Es fácil crear una billetera electrónica para que los estudiantes compren en la Feria o para que los maestros creen una para crear bibliotecas en el aula. Al pagar, se puede consultar la cuenta de la billetera electrónica en la caja o escanearla para pagar en la feria. Abuelos, tíos, familiares y amigos pueden contribuir, y su hijo tendrá más libros para leer y más tiempo para compartir en familia hablando de los libros que eligió o leyó. ¡Siempre se necesitan voluntarios también! Necesitamos de 2 a 3 voluntarios por turno. Si te interesa colaborar con la feria del libro, puedes inscribirte en uno o más turnos. El horario es de lunes a viernes de 7:45 a 10:30, de 10:30 a 13:00 y de 13:00 a 16:00. ¡Llama a la escuela al 509-486-4933 para inscribirte!
