Hello My Name Is...
Lissa Mensik
Every single precious face pictured right before you belongs to a mother and father who wants the best for their child. Parents send their children to school in hopes that they learn all they can everyday. I keep in mind that it is my job to get them ready to face the world and their future ten years from now. I am entrusted with these children. No matter the changes in standards, my expectations will always remain high. I will provide these children with life skills and support along the way so they can take leaps forward with confidence. I will provide every child opportunities to grow and strongly encourage them to persevere. They can expect that learning will be difficult and that the classroom is a culture of encouragement, exploration, failures and successes, and hard work. There are no hand outs in my classroom, but opportunities to feel successful once the effort is put in. I never want to forget that one of most important parts of my job is to always keep the heart of your child at the forefront of every thing I do. So parents, don't ever let me forget.
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not. ~Dr. Seuss
