Welcome to First Grade!
Hi, everyone! My name is Kristine Ekenes - Ward. I have always wanted to be a teacher and I love to create new and exciting activities for my students. I started my teaching career by graduating from Eastern Washington University with a degree in Elementary Education and an endorsement in Reading. I moved back to Tonasket to begin my teaching career. This is my third year teaching 1st grade. I am so excited to be back teaching 1st grade and the year has been a blast so far! I look forward to all the exciting activities your students will do as they learn all about first grade!
